Turkish Coffee originated in Turkey (Middle East)

Production Method

Finely ground coffee is boiled with water and sugar in a cezve. The pot is removed from heat just before boiling over, allowing the grounds to settle.

Special Qualities

  • Strong, thick coffee, brewed in a cezve pot
  • Layered with foam on top, thick consistency,
  • Often served with Turkish delight.
